More Acne Medication Side Effects You May Not Have Heard Of

As if we don’t have enough to worry about when taking the various acne medications out there which are readily available, there are some new ones I learned about and never even heard of until I read this.  They had to do with some known side effects of the most commonly prescribed acne medication – any number of antibiotics that are used to help clear acne, as well as another side effect of the already side effect-ridden isotretinoin otherwise popularly known as Accutane. As you well know by now if you’ve been reading my blog, I’ve always advocated  more natural approaches to treating acne, not only externally with natural cleansers with naturally active ingredients, but also by using things like herbal supplements and dietary changes to help internally treat the underlying conditions that cause acne. Antibiotics that are used to treat acne were found to cause unexplained sore throats in the patients that use them. At least more often than they had them before they started on the medication, which strongly infers that the reason for their sore throats was the medication and not some other outlying circumstance.
